Anthony Dowling

Executive Director

Show Bio

Anthony was born in St. Petersburg, FL. Anthony has been captivated by the entertainment industry since his early teens. In 1999, Anthony started his television and film career with Lance Britt and Gus Langdale when they founded Eno River Media. Mr. Dowling was appointed as Executive Director in the Fall of 2010.

Cynthia M. Evans-Robinson

President

Show Bio

Cynthia M. Evans-Robinson was born October 18, 1977, in Yuma, Arizona. She briefly attended Havelock High School located in Havelock, NC. During, her collegiate career, Cynthia has been blessed to have multiple fields of study: Associates Art Psychology, Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Associates in Applied Science, Baccalaureate Science Business Healthcare Management, and currently, Baccalaureate of Fine Arts in Digital Film with an Emphasis in Screenwriting. Cynthia M. Evans-Robinson is an Ordained Minister.

James Gary

Vice President

Show Bio

James entered the world in 1983 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Gary graduated in 2002 from A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Soon after graduation James joined the Marine Corp. After spending 4 years enlisted and 21 months in a war zone, James joined the North Carolina National Guard. Mr. Gary spent another 9 months in a war zone, came home, and started college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He received a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking and graduated in 2014. After he finished Liberty University, James started working for the Liberty University Film School until 2017, when he moved to Georgia to pursue his dream of making excellent films. James loves film because they are entertaining, culture-shifting, record-keeping, Informative, and emotional. Mr. Gary states, “Nothing is like film, and film is forever. I believe that in 2000 years, people will see what I put my life into and still be inspired.”

Owen Daly

Treasurer

Show Bio

Owen G. Daly was born in New York City and grew up in Rye and Mamaroneck, NY. He attended Rye Neck High School where he had leading parts in the Senior Play and Musical. Owen attended Adelphi University where he won a full tuition scholarship in Drama and performed as a member of the Adelphi Pillory Theatre at the Yale Drama Festival and the Il Miedzynarodowy Festiwal Festiwali Teatrow Studenckich in Wroclaw, Poland. After college Owen worked on four different NYC soap operas, (One Life to live, All My Children, Guiding Light and Another World. Then for about thirty years Owen played the part of a corporate IT professional. In 2008 Owen resumed his acting career, and has since appeared in feature films, plays, TV shows and commercials.

Natalie Singletary

Secretary & Film Festival Director

Show Bio

Natalie Singletary was born in Marietta Georgia but calls eastern North Carolina home. She’s been writing for as long as she can remember, script writing becoming prominent in middle and high school. She graduated from Havelock High school in 2009. Natalie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in creative writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University in 2020. She loves telling stories through ink, dance, and music, especially stories that allow people to feel.

Adam Zammiello

Board Member

Show Bio

Adam was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He fell in love with filmmaking and screenwriting at an early age, and he would go on to actively pursue these passions after earning his bachelor’s degree in communications from East Carolina University in 2009. Adam kickstarted his career as a copywriter in 2013 and became a full-time freelance writer in 2018 under the banner Framework Media, LLC. He’s endlessly fascinated by the storytelling power of the moving image.

Cody Mark Hanna

Show Bio

Cody Mark Hanna was born in Los Angeles, California in 1990. His family moved across the country to upstate NY where he graduated from Hudson Valley Community college with a degree in Engineering Science. Upon moving to North Carolina to continue his education, Cody discovered filming opportunities in Wilmington and became enthralled with the industry. Cody’s interest in filmmaking originated with watching films like the Lord Of The Rings, and watching the behind the scenes footage of the making of movies. Applying his engineering mindset to the functions of a film set allowed Cody to flourish working in the Assistant Director department of various motion picture and television series.

Casper Luna

Show Bio

Casper Luna was born May 19th, 1984, at Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, North Carolina. After moving to Fullerton California where he attended Fullerton Union High School, he later enrolled in the Army and served 6 years, working as a photographer and writer for Public Affairs. Multi-talented, Casper Luna has become adept at creating original writings, music compositions and audio productions. Later going on to become the founder of Casper Luna Art and Lycanthrope Entertainment, he has continued to create stories, art and music. Having had a lifelong love affair with horror and the film industry, going all the way back to the black & white Universal Monster movies, he enjoys creating those worlds, characters and creatures and bringing them to life.

Scott Vogelsberg

Board Member

Show Bio

Scott was born in Waukegan, Illinois, but grew up living all over the United States as a member of a Coast Guard family. While spending formative years in West Lafayette, Indiana; Elizabeth City, North Carolina; Kodiak, Alaska; and Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, he developed a love of literature and cinema. After completing studies at Lacey Township High School in New Jersey, he returned to North Carolina to attend NC State University in Raleigh, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in political science in 1995. He later went on to earn a certification in digital marketing at Duke University in 2016. As part of organizations ranging from WRAL-TV to the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce to RTI International, Scott has spent time in print, TV, and radio journalism, in addition to working in public relations, technical writing, and corporate communications. Currently, he serves as senior manager of digital content at Red Hat. Scott has always turned to the written word in the pursuit of transcribing experiences, channeling emotions, and bringing the ineffable to life. He is driven by the opportunity to explore how words and visual imagery can intersect to empower artists and serve the filmmaking industry in North Carolina.
